Is it warming up where you are? It started warming up around here in the southern half of Indiana a bit earlier than we all had expected. Only a few days ago it was close to 80 degrees! To me, that’s summer weather, but I’m not going to complain. Ok, I might complain a little, but it’s not about the heat. It’s about the darn biting bugs! They’re out already, and looking for me to chew on specifically, I just know it! Anyway, aside from that, It’s still nice to sit on the porch with good company in beautiful weather, especially if you have a pretty little citrus cocktail to sip on. I am no bartender, but if I can mix this up, then you know it has to be easy! There’s only a couple of ingredients and it’s so easy, delicious, refreshing, and so pretty! Mix up a couple of these and share one with a friend while enjoying the warm weather, wherever you are.

  1. Rub a slice of lime around the rim of your lowball glass (also known as a rocks glass or old fashioned). Pour some salt on a small plate, and dip rim of glass into salt to salt the rim. Add ice to the glass, then add juice and vodka. Top with lemon lime soda to fill glass. Garnish with a slice of lime.
